About Learn with Inara
Learn with Inara is operated by Inara Liepina, a private tutor working as a sole trader based in the UK, specialising in A-level Chemistry, Biology, and GCSE Science and Maths tutoring.
Course Bookings
- Bookings for courses are confirmed once payment has been received via Stripe.
- Course access details (including Zoom link and course booklet) will be sent 5 days before the course start date, as outlined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
1:1 Tutoring — Payment & Cancellation Terms
Lesson payment is required 24 hours in advance.
If a lesson is cancelled with 24 hours’ notice or more, it can be rescheduled free of charge, subject to availability.
If a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, I may offer a free reschedule within the same week if a suitable time is available. If not, the lesson remains chargeable and is non-refundable, except in cases of genuine emergency, considered at my discretion.
If payment is not received on time, future lessons may be paused until payment is made. A small late payment charge may apply for significantly overdue payments — details available on request.
Course Materials & Intellectual Property
All course materials, including the PDF course booklet, exercises, and any recordings or resources provided, are the intellectual property of Inara Liepina / Learn with Inara. These materials are provided for the personal use of the enrolled student only and must not be copied, shared, redistributed, or published without prior written permission.
Tutoring & Course Outcomes
While I bring care, preparation, and subject expertise to every session and course, I cannot guarantee specific exam results or grades, as these depend on many factors beyond tutoring alone, including a student’s own study, exam performance, and circumstances.
Conduct
Students and parents are expected to engage respectfully during lessons and courses. I reserve the right to end a session or withdraw a student from a course, without refund, in cases of serious misconduct or disruption.
Liability
I am not liable for any technical issues outside my control (e.g. internet outages, Zoom service interruptions) that may affect a live online session. Where possible, sessions affected by technical issues will be rescheduled or a suitable resolution offered.
